Benefit Concert for Homeless Healthcare Los Angeles (HHCLA)
On June 22, 2005, an event to
benefit the
homeless of Los Angeles will be
held at The Overlook, located at 1745 N. Vermont Avenue, Los Angeles,
CA
90027. The benefit will feature an eclectic group of musical
performances
throughout the evening. Doors open at 8 pm and the event lasts until

Homeless Healthcare Los
Angeles’
mission is to improve the health of the
homeless through health services, education and advocacy. Homeless
Health
Care Los Angeles, (HHCLA) was established in 1985 as a non-profit
community based organization dedicated to meet the growing health care
needs of homeless individuals and their families in Los Angeles. While
the crisis of homelessness, which surfaced in the 1980s’ has
worsened,
HHCLA has continued to provide health services to the homeless and
educate the community about the connections between health and
homelessness. Since inception, HHCLA has provided services such as Case
Management & Outreach, Counseling, Health Services, Family
Program &
Children Services, Training & Education and Advocacy, Needle
Exchange
Program and Community Assessment Service Center. Since 1985, more than
40,000 homeless men, women and their children have received medical,
mental health, addiction and other social services. Over 20,000
individuals have participated in HHCLA’S community
conferences and agency
based trainings.

Tanj: Influenced by every form of
groove
music from the last thirty years,

music to accompany you on your journey through life.
Rosso: "There has been no songwriter
with
such insight, analysis and
subsequent brilliance since the 1960's" - Brett Waters,
Singer/Songwriter
Magazine
Elephonic: Not to be confused with
the
latest joint by Thai Elephant
Orchestra (yes, exactly what the name suggests), Elephonic are four
humans
from LA who provide some quirky, orchestral chillout music of their own.
Beatglance: Turntablist presenting
sounds of
underground and experimental
beats combined with electro.
